On behalf of TRNC, World Health Tourism Council Term President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan In a post on its social media account on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Council (Global Healthcare Travel Council) announced that the Council (Global Healthcare Travel Council) adopts and supports the vision of UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) with the 2023 theme.
Dr. Ahmet Savaşan’s message is as follows:
“We see World Tourism Day as an important opportunity to celebrate the beauty and diversity of our planet, while also remembering our collective responsibility to protect it for future generations. This year's World Tourism Day theme “Tourism and Green Investments” highlights that positive change can happen in the world when tourism develops in line with environmental and social sustainability goals. As the Global Healthcare Travel Council, we embrace and support this vision put forward by UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) with the 2023 theme. Happy World Tourism Day.”
